My dear parents, Josie and Eddie, have been married for 40 years and are still very much in love. Growing up, they were a shining example of how a marriage built on mutual respect, true friendship and teamwork can withstand any obstacle. To this day, they continue to inspire me in so many ways. If you’ve been following on my Instagram and previous posts here and here, you know that this makeover was a gift to my parents on their 40th wedding anniversary!
I’m so excited to finally share the finished space. My parents living room, which is also my childhood home, has gone through many transformations over the years but this one is definitely the most meaningful for all of us. Before, this room housed a mish-mash of thrifted furniture and it has now become a sophisticated and calming retreat for my parents to relax and entertain in.
